AB  - &lt;p&gt;The interdisciplinary relations between Information Science and Law Science are the subject of debate and reflection in this text, firstly because they are considered scientific fields belonging to Applied Social Sciences, secondly because there are convergences between these disciplines, especially with regard to the which is considered information of public law and what this represents for society. In this sense, the objective of this research is to understand the basic characteristics of interdisciplinarity in order to associate them with the interdisciplinary relationships that Information Science maintains with Law Science. For that, a research of qualitative nature, of the exploratory type and of the theoretical type, was carried out based on the published literature of the scientific fields of both Sciences. Then, it was discussed, in synthesis, that in Post-Modernity, Law Science and Information Science, can be understood as multi and interdisciplinary sciences, correlated to the other Applied Social Sciences and Human, and to some fields of Exact Sciences, such as Computing. In the end, it was concluded that Information Science and Law Science, acting in an integrated way in the teaching, research and extension, can generate differentiated knowledge for solving problems of society involving both disciplines.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Keywords:&lt;/strong&gt; Interdisciplinarity.
